The call for more women in leadership and for developing leadership skills among women is a timely, decisive and proactive one. Every woman has the capacity for greatness, the potential to positively influence her environment, and the power to initiate change in society and in corporate governance. This course was curated especially for females – leaders, mid-level managers, professionals and aspiring leaders, with the objective of equipping participants with the knowledge, skills and competencies to lead competently, confidently and effectively in diverse settings/contexts and to prepare for senior management or C-suite roles. Participants will also be given the strategies and tools to master authentic, conscious/consistent and exemplary (ACE) leadership.
By the end of this course, participants will:
1. Produce a Leadership Development and Action Plan (LDAP) to support their leadership journey
2. Produce a reflective piece discussing their leadership experiences, skills and strengths in their own contexts, as well as their learning and plan development.
3. Be able to identify their uniqueness, personal strengths, motivations, limiting behaviours and leadership style
4. Successfully, reposition themselves for incremental success using tried and tested tools, frameworks and strategies.
5. Develop a keener awareness of themselves as a leader and how to become more effective in enabling others to access their potential, thereby enhancing organisational competitiveness.
